Again we have another masterpiece of Apple Inc. in patronizing their customers.
I do not understand why I am paying a 79 EUR a year and the only thing I am getting is losing my emails. By June 15 Apple changed its Web Mail client and made it impossible to disable the server side junk mail filtering. Unfortunately MobileMe Webmail is using another junk mail folder than OSX Mail.app. The results: Junk mail is filtered by a totally untrained filter (the server side filter), it’s being moved into a folder from which I did not even know that it exists (‘Junk’) and it is not marked as Junk in the OSX Mail.app because it uses its own Junk filter. More tragic: I lost a lot of money because I did not even know that MobileMe created this additional junk folder and (untrained as it is because I am NEVER using MobileMe webmail) moved a lot of important mails into this folder. What I earned by this wonderful ‘service’: Unpayed bills, unanswered support mails, important business mail I never found. And the best: It’s impossible to disable this ‘feature’.
I hate to say this: But it’s the first time in my life I am thinking of moving to a Microsoft Exchange server because I no longer want to suffer this ignorance and incompetence of Apple’s MobileMe unit. Hey, this is a PAYED service!
Apple, I want a refund!
